Mxolisi Dlamini crew
Mxolisi Dlamini was born in an area calleded Geluk, one of the villages around Mkhondo Municipality. He was born in December 20, 1989 at Piet Retief hospital.
He started schooling at Yellowstone Primary school in 1996 doing grade 1 until April 2000, where he further went to Siyeza primary school from April 2000 until 2002.
He continued with his schooling at Amadlelo Aluhlaza secondary school in 2003 where he did his grade 8, but he left for Mlilo combined school in 2004 until 2007 where he finished his matric.
After completing his matric he applied for tertiary institution and got accepted to do Electrical engineering at Tshwane university of technology in 2008, but his studies didn’t go through due to lack of registration funds. He returned home, and in February of that year he got a bursary to study Civil engineering at Gert Sibande TVET college from 2008 to 2010 where he finished his final year with three distinctions. In 2014 he did a course in Water and wastewater process control supervision. In 2015 he furthered his studies at North West university where he did short courses in Environmental management and Water quality monitoring.
He started working during his tertiary studying where he worked part-time as an assistant chef at Umnandi catering and accommodation. In 2011 joined solid waste management project initiated by the Cooperative government and traditional affairs (COGTA) for a period of six months. He was permanently employed by Mkhondo municipality in 2012 and he is currently working for the municiplality as a Water process controller.
While he was working during the day in the afternoons he was working as the ABET teacher at Vezikhono AET centre located at Imizamoyethu primary school from 2011 to 2014, teaching Mathematical literacy.
In 2009 he was elected as the SRC member at GS College, where he served as a treasure for Standerton campus, and he was further elected as the Treasure of the SRC executive committee. In 2010 he was elected as the SRC deputy president for Standerton campus.
In 2011 he was chosen to be the team leader of the group of young people who were involved in the waste management project.
In 2012 was appointed to be the secretary at Vezikhono Abet centre.
In 2016 was appointed the secretary of Iron Sharpens Iron men’s foundation, which he is currently heading.
In 2017 was appointed as the Mentor for Qedela secondary school under the Youth Managers Foundation, which he served for only 2017.
EXTRA CURRICULA ACTIVITIES
He is a co-founder of Greenfield football club of Eziphunzini and a team player for the team.
He is a born again Christian.
