Just over 29 years of age, Xolani Enock Nkosi is one of the best news readers on radio. After ruling the News reading Department on the no: 1 Community radio station based in Mpumalanga, he has been replaced by another News Reader. They say change is always good and that can be seen currently as this vibrant man hosts the most listened Current affairs show in the southern part of Mpumalanga, part of KwaZulu-Natal, and Neighboring country Swaziland, “Sigeq’ Amagula Show.”
He is a popular Mpumalanga Province native who was born in the rural of Kwanobhonga, in 1987 -11-01 and grew up at Mangosuthu location, in the small town called Mkhondo previously known as Piet Retief.
Education – He did grade 1& 2 at Emathalaza Combine School; grade 2 & 3 at Imizamoyethu Primary; grade 3 up to 9 at Salem Combined School and 9 to 12 at Ndlela Secondary School. He matriculated in 2008.
He has attained a project management Certificate (short course) from the University of Johannesburg (UJ) and received numerous business certificates from Skills Development programs ran by Mondi-Zimele and Business-Made Simple. He is also a poet, writer; film maker, photographer, Video editor, Graphic Designer, and a fashion Designer.
Social Development – He served as general secretary for Mkhondo Art, Culture and Heritage Council since 2009 to date in a quest to Identify, develop and expose untapped local talents and create a platform for talented youth and adult to showcase their talent.
He collects and compile data base for creative people in the Mkhondo Municipality and surrounding areas and also assist local drama groups with movie script writing and short films.
